Jonathan Boyson, PhD
Roger H. Allbee Professor
Jon received his PhD at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in David Watkins's lab where he studied the evolution and function of non-classical MHC class I genes. He conducted his post-doctoral research at Harvard University with Jack Strominger where he studied non-classical MHC class I proteins and developed his interest in innate-like T cells.

Katherine Horrigan, BS
CMB Graduate Student
Katherine earned her B.S. in biology in 2019 from Gettysburg College. She then conducted research for 2 years on enteric vaccine development at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, MD. She then joined the CMB graduate program and has been a member of the Boyson lab since 2022 studying the role of gamma delta T cells in cancer.

Brianna Hilton, BS
CMB Graduate Student
​Brianna received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. She then worked at Boston Children’s Hospital, studying embryonic stem cells for two years before joining the CMB program here at UVM and has been a member of the Boyson lab since 2022. She is now studying how SLAM/SAP signaling affects gamma delta T cell development.

​Sarah is an undergraduate student at the University of Vermont with a major in biochemistry and a minor in microbiology. She is working under Brianna Hilton, researching the regulation of gamma delta T cell effector programming by the SLAM/SAP signaling pathway.
