        innate-like T cells

In the Boyson lab at the University of Vermont (UVM), we study the biology of innate-like T cells. These unusual T cell subsets reside in our mucosal tissues, where they form part of our front line of defense against pathogens and are important contributors to the anti-tumor immune response. We are interested in understanding the factors that regulate the development and function of these unusual T cells, how these factors shape the host immune response and ultimately, how they affect health and disease.
